1. Do I have to pay to be a member of The Opera Insider?
Nope, membership is currently free of charge.
2. Can I cancel my membership at any time?
Of course! Please send an email to: membership@theoperainsider.com stating that you wish to cancel your subscription, and why. Your profile will subsequently be deleted from the site and you would need to sign up again if you would like to participate in our community at any point in the future.
3. How do I report abuse?
The Opera Insider does not tolerate any abusive or offensive content on the site. If you wish to report abuse or bad content, please email: info@theoperainsider.com with specific details about where the abuse is located or click the "Report Spam" or "Report Abuse" buttons that you will find on various pages throughout the site.
4. Is my personal information safe?
Yes. We will not sell, rent, or in any other way make your personal information available to a third party or to any other member of The Opera Insider community unless expressly requested to do so by you or by the law. Please review our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use for further details.
5. How can I let others know how to register with The Opera Insider?
We love this question! We're thrilled you want to spread the word about us to your friends and collagues! We invite you to Send a TOI-Gram, which will let others know about us. Also feel free to "Share" any page on the site on your Facebook, Twitter, or other social media platform page.
6. What is the difference between a private and a public profile?
If you choose to have a private profile, only your name, side of the curtain, and location will be shown to those individuals who are not your friends on TOI. If you choose to have a public profile, you thereby agree that any information you provide on your profile page may be seen by any other user. Please see our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy for complete details. We take no responsibility for the content of the emails sent to your personal email account, and cannot file complaints on your behalf.
7. Will other members be able to contact me?
All members of The Opera Insider can be contacted through our internal messaging system by other members of the community.
8. I forgot my password. Now what?
Simply click on the "Forgot Password" link on the homepage and your password information will be sent to the e-mail address you used to register your account.
9. How can I edit my profile?
Go to your profile page (by clicking on the gold "My TOI" button on the left hand side of the navigation bar once you've logged in) and click on Edit My Profile. There you can update your personal information, manage your photos, audio samples, video clips, and events, and change your settings.
10. How can I provide feedback or comments, or suggest a change or addition to the website?
We always welcome your feedback!! Please click on the 'About Us' tab, then select Contact Us to email us with a comment, suggestion, or other feedback. We will respond within three business days.
